In the third and final episode in our three-part series on branding, rather than speak with the branding experts, I speak to a fabulous small business owner who recently undertook a brand refresh.

Liz Dawson is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP), Pilates instructor and owner and director of two businesses; Kids Heart Pilates & Northside Allied Health.

I worked with Liz in early 2021 by creating a marketing strategy and plan for both of her businesses.

In the marketing strategy, I had suggested that the existing branding that Liz had in place for Kids Heart Pilates didn’t seem to accurately reflect the positioning of her fun and heart-felt business. The existing brand, while playful, was not as energising as it could be and frankly, needed to be in order to appeal to the various Kids Heart Pilates stakeholders that included the kids that absolutely love her pilates!!
